Three of our “Undercover Entertainers” singers were Singing Waiters at the Annual Scholarship dinner for the Australian Lebanese Foundation, held at Sydney University on the 6th May 2013
Distinguished guests included the Premier of NSW – Barry O’Farrell, who during the middle of the act, was mistaken as Tony Abbott by Mario our Singing Chef . He was quizzed by Mario about removing Speed Humps in his street that were ruining his Italian Sports Car! Mario was referred by Mr O’Farrell, mid song,to take it up with the NSW Police Deputy commissioner – Nick Kaldas, who was also in attendance. Mario serenaded the Deputy Commissioner until he agreed to remove the speed humps!! Both got into the spirit of the act waving hands and napkins above their head and lead the applause at the end of the act.
We received lovely feedback from the organiser below. Great work team.
“Thank you indeed on behalf of all our team in the ALF for a wonderful performance. It was the peak of the evening and added a very enjoyable time to our function. I looked at the VIP table and was very happy to see the Premier & our special guests totally taken by the performance, waving hands and napkins above their heads with all the room.
We will have no hesitation to recommend you and already gave your contacts to a couple of enquiries in the evening. Please convey our thanks to the 3 singers.
Good luck & big success in the future.” Pierre El Alam– Australian Lebanese Foundation[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][slideshow id=25]
